A musician graduated from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, DOT found his true passion for electronic music while living in Germany in 2018. There, he was introduced to the vibrant European alternative music festivals, which inspired him to create his own musical project, DOT – Day Out Of Time. Combining his skills as a guitarist, composer, producer, and audio engineer, he was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2021 for his audio design work on the music video for “Visceral” by Fran, Bibi Caetano & Carlos do Complexo.

In addition to his musical work, DOT is also the founder of the label Karuana, a platform dedicated to collaborative and transdisciplinary art, where he releases his own music and opens doors for emerging artists.

DOT has captivated European audiences, performing at local festivals such as Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival, Psychedelic Xmas, and Goldener Stuhle, standing out for the exceptional quality of his electronic music production, as well as his engaging melodies and textures. In Brazil, he has performed at major festivals like Universo Paralello, Doce Maravilha, Mita, and renowned events such as HOLO by Eric Prydz, Dawn Patrol Showcase, and various clubs.

In 2024, DOT went on two European tours, performing in Ibiza, Berlin, Porto, and Lisbon, gaining new fans. After the success of “Eu vou pra Bahia” – a hit collaboration with Rachel Reis that has accumulated nearly 1 million plays – DOT has just released “Chuva de Verão,” which has gained attention in Europe for its danceable and cathartic style.
